adorn and bloom

My Garden.

There is a sprinkler outside my window and as I watch it go back and forth I am reminded of the watering that needs to take place in my soul. Its been a dry and desolate land in there for a little while. It has felt as if I had neglected it and let it over grow or dry up, but what Spirit has been showing me is that really we were just plowing the field. We have been digging up the dirt, and getting ready to plant again. We had to get rid of the old plants because it was time for a new season, a new harvest, a new garden. And that has never discredited the one planted before, it was a beautiful garden but its time for something new. And the pain, the hurt, the ripping up of the old soil is for something even greater. A new field that will produce the right crop, field, and garden for this season. For this revival. So I’m giving into the tilling and working with the gardener instead of resisting him.
